Brandshare and Listerine teamed up to co-present at the Path To Purchase Summit in Fort Lauderdale, FL in May 2019 to showcase how Listerine launched a new category product as a plus one to mouthwash and engaged on-the-go millennials for this new innovative product category launch through the power of e-commerce sampling. Sampling was a core element of Listerine’s launch initiative, distributing samples across three distinct sampling platforms: retail and e-commerce sampling, lifestyle and on-the-go sampling, and relevance through food and coffee. E-commerce sampling was a highly targeted initiative that Listerine wanted to focus on and bring that experience to life through a surprise and delight moment that online shopper were not expecting.

Audience members received the same trial experience as the online shopper as a team of delivery men passed out an e-commerce package that includes Brandshare socks and Listerine Ready! Tabs. The audience participated in a guided trial to experience firsthand. This provided a surprise and delight moment showing how trial can increase conversion, something that Listerine saw as strong results from their e-commerce campaign.
